This page explains how we handle the information you provide in the appointment form, by phone or through WhatsApp.
Privacy Notice
Data controller and contact
The data controller for appointment requests and studio communication is Tutku Çalık (Çalık’S Art Academy). Address: Hacı Yusuf Mahallesi, 11034 Sokak No:21/A, Bandırma / Balıkesir, Türkiye. What data do we collect and how?
The form asks for your name, phone number, preferred date and time, chosen beauty treatment, and service details such as placement, size, color or design. Tattoo, removal and piercing requests also require confirmation that you are 18 or older. You may choose to send images and further details in WhatsApp. Information you share by phone or WhatsApp may also be used to respond to you.
Your entries become a prepared WhatsApp message in your browser. When you press the button, the details are added to the message parameter of a wa.me link. Opening that link may transmit the address containing your details to the WhatsApp service or app; not sending the chat message does not necessarily mean that no data was transferred when the link opened. You decide separately whether to send the message in the chat. This website has no appointment database.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your details to assess your request, discuss the service and design, and contact you about availability and an appointment. Pre-contract communication for the requested service is considered under Article 5/2(c) of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Other statutory grounds may apply where legal obligations or the protection of rights require them. This form does not request marketing permission.
Who receives the data?
Tattoo, removal and piercing requests open Tutku Çalık’s WhatsApp; nail art and beauty requests open Sinem Çalık’s. If you send the message, communication takes place through WhatsApp/Meta and its own privacy terms and possible international processing. You do not need to share images or sensitive health information in the form. We do not sell your data for advertising.
Retention and your rights
The site does not store form submissions. WhatsApp messages are handled for as long as communication, the service relationship or legal retention duties require. Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether your data is processed, request information or correction, and request deletion where the conditions apply. Privacy Policy
This website does not record appointment requests in a database on its server. Form details are added to a WhatsApp link’s message parameter in your browser; opening the link may transfer those details to the WhatsApp service or app. Sending the chat message is a separate decision. If JavaScript is disabled, form fields and the submit button remain disabled; use the direct WhatsApp links instead.
The site contains no advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The hosting service may create technical access logs for security and operation. When you follow links to Instagram, Google Maps or WhatsApp, those services’ privacy practices apply.
Please do not put health details, identification numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information in the form. Discuss any specific needs directly with the studio.
Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. The code of this website contains no analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. Appointment form details are not saved in cookies or browser storage.
Hosting and security cookies
The Cloudflare security layer of the current hosting service may use a cookie named __cf_bm. It helps distinguish automated bot traffic and is not used for advertising or visitor analytics. According to Cloudflare, it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. The hosting service that provides sign-in also has its own session and access rules.
Your choices
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking security and session cookies may affect access. This version has no optional tracking, so no consent banner is displayed. If analytics or advertising tracking is added later, the relevant notice and consent controls must be implemented before tracking is enabled; non-essential tracking must not start before a choice is made.
When you change your theme or motion preferences, only those choices are stored in your browser’s localStorage (caliks.appearance.v1). This keeps your preferences when switching pages or languages in the same browser. The record is not used for advertising or analytics and the website code does not send it to a server. Remove it with Reset in the appearance settings or by clearing the browser’s site data. The default dark theme creates no record on your first visit.
External links
Instagram, Google Maps and WhatsApp are not loaded as embedded tracking components on these pages; the relevant service opens when you click a link. Its own cookie and data policies apply there. The WhatsApp button prepares your message; you decide whether to send it.
